These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Renewal Tracker desktop application and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Renewal Tracker ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Renewal Tracker helps you keep track of renewal dates: subscriptions, memberships, insurance, vehicle and visa renewals, and similar recurring or one-off deadlines. It reminds you before they're due. Reminders are delivered through in-app and system-tray notifications while the app is running, and through a daily email summary so you're covered even when the app or your computer is closed.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password confidential.
• You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account, whether or not you personally performed it.
• Let us know immediately at support@pablochtech.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Free tier and one-time lifetime access

Renewal Tracker offers a free tier (currently up to 5 active tracked items) with no payment or credit card required, for as long as you want to use it. A one-time payment unlocks unlimited tracked items for as long as you continue using the app. This is a single purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge, and your lifetime access does not expire or need renewal.

4. What the lifetime purchase includes, and what it doesn't

To avoid any ambiguity, here's exactly what your one-time payment covers:

• Included, free, forever: the core feature set as it exists at the time of your purchase (unlimited tracked items, in-app/tray notifications, daily email reminders, item history, and account/profile management), plus ordinary bug fixes, security patches, and compatibility updates needed to keep those existing features working (for example, on a newer version of Windows or macOS).
• Not included (a separate, additional offering): future AI-powered features (such as an automated assistant that acts on your behalf) or other major new feature lines introduced after your purchase. If we build something like this, it will be offered separately with its own pricing, and your existing lifetime access to the core tracker is never taken away or reduced as a result.

We'll always be clear, at the point such a feature is announced, about whether it's included in your existing purchase or offered separately. You won't be surprised by a paywall appearing around something you already paid for.

5. Payment processing

Payments for lifetime access are processed by Gumroad, an independent third-party payment provider and merchant of record. You provide your payment details directly to Gumroad, not to us, and by purchasing you also agree to Gumroad's own terms of service. We're not responsible for Gumroad's platform availability, fees it may charge, or payment-processing errors on its end.

6. Refunds

Refunds for the one-time lifetime purchase are handled under our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for anything unlawful or fraudulent; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission; use automated means to scrape, abuse, or overload the Service; or impersonate another person when creating an account.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the data you enter into the Service: your renewal items, notes, and history are yours. We claim no ownership over it, and it's used only to operate the Service on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete this data at any time.

9. Intellectual property

The Renewal Tracker application, website, branding, logos, and underlying source code are our property (or that of our licensors) and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our trademarks, branding, or source code beyond ordinary use of the Service as intended.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly secure, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what's described here. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including late fees, lapsed insurance or visa coverage, or other real-world costs from a renewal you missed, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to, at most, the amount you actually paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, or discontinue features of the Service over time, including in response to how the app is used or to keep it running reliably. We'll do our best to give notice of any change that meaningfully reduces functionality you're already relying on.

14. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used abusively or fraudulently, with notice where practical.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify existing users by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India.

17. Informal resolution first

If you have a dispute with us, please email support@pablochtech.com first and give us a chance to resolve it directly. Most issues can be sorted out quickly this way, without needing anything more formal.

18. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service, and supersede any earlier understanding on the same subject.
